How Can Osteopathy Help You?

Osteopathy is a hands-on complementary therapy for all ages, from new-borns to nonagenarians.

About Me…

Sarah Raynsford BSc (Hons) BOst

I studied at the British School of Osteopathy in London graduating in 2008 having completed a 4 year full-time degree programme. Whilst training I worked in several specialised community clinics including ones for the elderly, expectant mothers and patients with HIV.  Now with several years experience treating a range of patients and conditions I especially enjoy this rich variety that osteopathic practice offers.

I have carried out postgraduate training in cranial osteopathy and regularly attend courses and lectures to ensure my treatment, care and advice are current and optimal for all patients.

I’m registered with the General Osteopathic Council and am a member of the Institute of Osteopathy (previously the British Osteopathic Association).

My interest in healthcare has been lifelong and I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.  I pursued a career change from laboratory scientist to hands-on healthcare professional after receiving osteopathic treatment on my return from backpacking around the globe, several years ago.

Now with two small children I’m happily settled in Church Crookham.

Testimonials

Sarah has the ideal combination of common sense, ability and gentleness, she has helped me a great deal with the various problems I have brought to her – knee, neck and head and I look forward to continuing with her, as not only her treatment but her excellent advice, has served me well.

Osteopathy has helped me to manage the pain of chronic migraines and back problems. Without it I’m not sure I would be able to work. It’s not just drug free pain relief, it treats the source of the problem with lasting results. Sarah has such a calm and approachable manner. She is highly skilled and her treatments really work.
